Foundation of Kurtulan Jewelry brand attracting utmost attention of worldwide consumers on account of unique collections and specific organisational structure it developed was lied at an antique jeweller at Interior Bedesten of Covered Bazaar where he was employed as salesman in 1980 by Ismet Naci Kurtulan. Interest of Kurtulan in antique artefacts was preparing birth of a brand to feel proud with in the future.
Experience gained by Kurtulan at the Covered bazaar and touristic locations gave its first fruit at the jewellery shop at Sarigerme, Mugla in 1993. This shop was followed by the second one in Gocek. It was making design and production for retail sales stores at the beginning. This process lasted until 1996. However, specific designs created by Meltem Kurtulan became well-known at the market and various corporations started placing orders.

Kurtulan has a very wide, diverse and qualified product range in golden jewellery and trappings… In 1993 Kurtulan prepared its first collection of 24 grades. In the study designated as “Byzantine Collection”, cultural traces encountered with jewellery works met. This work was followed by other collections comprising Marks of Anatolian culture, art and archaeological values.
